Captions disappeared after adjusting volume

At the start of Chapter 3, the music was a bit too loud. We turned it down while Hector was talking and then the captions disappeared for the cutscene. They came back after we time-travelled.

Thanks for reporting David. Did you happen to take a screenshot or a video of this? 
Also, are you able to let us know if you were playing on a Shadow PC or if you have a computer with the required specs?
Another question: did you happen to go to the setting menu while you were in the cutscene or in dialogue with Hector? We've discovered that sometimes that can cause bugs.
