Issue with Directions on Mobile App

In the task about cleaning the water from chapter 1, two of us in the group experienced that our directions on the mobile app would not advance by hitting the arrow (see screenshot). To get around it, we had to press skip and then whwn we entered back in, we were able to scroll through using the arrows.
Both users experiencing issues were using Samsung Galaxy Androids.

Hi Page! Is the phone at least Version 5.0 for Android? If it is older than this, the app might not work properly. Also check if they have the latest app version installed: 1.7.12

Jurek (Bible X): on Android Version 12 on one of the phones, cant say for certain the other phone's version. Both phones had the app version up to date. The one with Android Version 12 currently has the app version 1.7.12, its on automatic updates, so whatever version was the latest on Monday when we played, was on it.

Page Owens: Hi Page, in this unit game, you have to rotate your phone to landscape mode. The first direction tells you to do this. If you turn your phone back vertically, this could be the reason why you weren't able to advance. Did you try to advance in landscape mode?
